First Baptist Church Slidell

About this church

First Baptist Church Slidell gathers for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m., with Sunday School beginning at 9. The Baptist congregation presents Christian unity around one Lord, faith, baptism, and God the Father as a central biblical conviction. Recorded sermons are available through its official site, giving first-time guests a way to sample the teaching. The church also operates First Baptist Christian School and publishes ministry pathways for children, students, women, and men.

Children check in at the gym for 9 a.m. Sunday School. First- and second-graders have Kids Church at 10:30 on the second, third, and fourth Sundays of the month; Wednesday children’s programming runs from 5:45 to 7 p.m., and children’s choir begins at 5:15 during its announced season. Student boys’ and girls’ Bible studies meet Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m. Women may enter a one-to-one discipleship relationship structured around eight meetings in twelve weeks, while men’s ministry combines Scripture, accountability, mentoring, service, and leadership. First Baptist’s site leaves Sunday duration and music, sacrament timing, nursery availability, child release, and staff vetting unaddressed. Guests can separately ask about parking, clothing, the accessible entrance, assisted listening, and online viewing. Wednesday families should confirm the program’s current ages.
