St. Ursula Catholic Church

About this church

St. Ursula Catholic Church is located at 8801 Harford Road in Parkville. Its official ministry pages identify a 5 p.m. Saturday Mass and Sunday Masses at 9 and 11 a.m.; the parish's primary Mass-times page currently contains little readable schedule detail, so visitors should confirm the current weekend and holy-day times through the homepage or bulletin before traveling. The parish mission centers on becoming disciples through Eucharistic worship, prayer, service, and formation. Office hours are published Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday morning.

The parish began as a mission in 1926, dedicated its first permanent church in 1933, became independent in 1937, and began using the present church in 1954. Religious education offers a weekly Monday option from 7 to 8:15 p.m. for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade during the school year, plus a monthly Saturday family-faith alternative. Youth ministry serves grades five through twelve. Music includes a children's choir for grades two through eight and adult ensembles that support the 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday liturgies. St. Ursula also provides a weekday food pantry and assistance ministry. Families should use the current registration calendar for formation programs, since dates follow the academic year.
