The Tree of Life Baptist Church

About this church

The Tree of Life Baptist Church in Parkville, located on Harford Road in the Baltimore area, holds its Sunday service at 10 a.m. and a Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. The Baptist congregation describes itself as a community church focused on grounding people's lives in the Word of God. The website gives little detail about the order of worship, but the church lists a praise team that leads music along with pastoral and preaching leadership. Because schedules can shift, confirm service and Bible study times on the website or the church's social media pages before visiting.

Beyond Sunday, the church organizes a wide range of ministries. Youth and young adult ministries serve younger members, and Women of the Tree brings the women of the congregation together. Other teams include hospitality, culinary, media and prayer covering ministries, an evangelizing ministry devoted to sharing the faith, a poetry ministry and a Keep In Touch ministry. Deacons and trustees look after the care of members and the church's resources. The website includes an electronic prayer box for submitting prayer requests and posts some video content. The church also shares updates on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, which may be the best place to check for upcoming events.
