The Foundry Assembly of God

About this church

The Foundry Assembly of God in Lufkin holds its main Sunday service at 10:30 a.m., preceded by Sunday School at 9:30. A Wednesday-night gathering is published at 7:00 p.m. The church summarizes its mission as seeing lives changed and souls saved, and its worship and teaching sit within the Pentecostal tradition of the Assemblies of God. Recent sermons and dated events are available online, giving a visitor a way to preview the congregation before arriving at the South Chestnut Street campus.

Foundry Kids uses Bible teaching, games, and activities to help children understand and apply the Gospel, while Foundry Student Ministries brings youth together for worship, a message, relationships, and service. The church calendar also highlights a Monday prayer gathering that combines intercession for people, community, nation, and church with a free hot lunch; because this is a dated event series, confirm it on the live calendar before attending. This profile is a good starting point for families seeking an Assembly of God congregation with age-specific Sunday and midweek ministries. The church is at 1405 South Chestnut Street. Visitors should use the current events page for holiday changes and for the exact lineup of Wednesday programs.
