Encouraging Radio is a useful free launcher for Positive Alternative Radio’s five regional networks and two extra music streams. It is especially convenient for listeners who moved outside a station’s broadcast area, want Southern Gospel alongside mainstream CCM, or enjoy Christmas music in July. It is not an on-demand music service: programmers choose the songs, local stations retain their schedules, and the public materials do not document skip controls, offline downloads, lyric display, lossless quality, or a complete podcast catalog.
