What Does Acts 3:22 Mean?
Peter reaches back to Moses himself (Deuteronomy 18:15, 18) — the deliverer who spoke with God and promised that God would one day raise up a prophet 'like unto me' from among the people. The charge attached is total: hear him in all things whatsoever he shall say.
Peter proclaims Jesus as that prophet — like Moses, and greater: leading a greater deliverance, mediating a greater covenant, speaking the words of God as the Son of God.
