Today's Story
God gave Daniel a very long, detailed vision of the future. He saw kings rising up and falling down, kingdoms fighting kingdoms, rulers coming and going — one after another, for hundreds of years to come.
It was a lot to take in! But here's the wonderful thing hidden inside all those details: God knew it ALL ahead of time. Every king, every battle, every twist and turn — God saw it coming before it ever happened. Nothing in all of history could surprise Him.
Even when cruel rulers would do bad things and hard times would come, God was never caught off guard. He was in control the whole time. He had a plan, and He was working it out, all the way to the end.
We don't know what tomorrow holds. But God does. He knows every day of the future, just like He knew every day of Daniel's future. And He holds it all in His hands.
