What Does Job 38:11 Mean?
Now God gives the words he spoke to the sea: thus far you may come, and no further; here your proud waves will be stopped. The crashing, surging ocean obeys a boundary it cannot overstep, because the Creator has spoken it.
Pride and power that seem unstoppable still answer to God's command. The proud waves rise high, yet they break and fall at the line he draws.
