What Does Joshua 21:25 Mean?
Two towns are given from the western half of Manasseh, completing the cities of the non-priestly Kohathites. Taanach lay near the plain of Megiddo, where Israel would later see God deliver them in the days of the judges.
Even the half-tribe west of Jordan gives its share, so the Levites reach there too. Every part of the divided tribe of Manasseh has a place for God's servants. The Lord's care leaves no portion of His people, however split or scattered, without the nearness of those who serve Him.
