What Does Joshua 21:24 Mean?

Two more towns of Dan finish this portion, four cities in all. Aijalon overlooked the valley where the sun once stood still at Joshua's word during the great battle for Gibeon.

The valley of that astonishing day is bordered now by a city of God's servants. Where the heavens themselves had paused to grant Israel victory, the Levites now make their home. The land remembers God's wonders, and His ministers dwell within sight of them.
