1 Corinthians 15 for Kids

For Kids · 4 min with a grown-up

1 Corinthians is a letter Paul wrote to God's family. This part holds the most wonderful news of all.

It is the happy true story that Jesus really came back to life — and that gives us hope forever.

Today's Story

Paul had the best news in the whole world, and he did not want God's family to ever forget it. So he wrote it down very clearly.

Jesus died for us. His friends laid Him in a tomb. But three days later, something amazing happened — Jesus came back to life! He was not a ghost. He was really, truly alive.

And lots of people saw Him. Paul said Jesus showed Himself to His close friends, and then to a huge crowd — more than five hundred people at one time! Many of them were still alive and could tell you all about it.

Why is this such good news? Paul said because Jesus came back to life, death does not get the last word anymore. Everyone who belongs to Jesus will live with Him forever in a wonderful place where there are no more tears.

Jesus won! He beat the saddest thing of all. So Paul said we can be strong and full of joy, because nothing we do for Jesus is ever wasted.
