1 Corinthians 7 for Kids

For Kids · 3 min with a grown-up

1 Corinthians is a letter Paul wrote to help God's family love God and each other. In this part, Paul answers their questions about how to live happily right where God has put them.

Today's Story

The people in Corinth had lots of questions for Paul. “How should we live?” they asked. “Some of us are part of a big family with a mom and dad. Some of us live on our own. Which one is best?”

Paul wrote back with a gentle answer. “God has a good plan for every single one of you,” he said. “You do not have to wish you were somebody else. You can love God and serve Him right where you are.”

“If you live in a busy house, love the people there,” Paul said. “If you live quietly, give that time to God. Either way, you belong to Him.”

Paul wanted them to stop comparing and start being thankful. “Bloom where God has planted you,” he was saying. “Stay close to Jesus. That is the best place of all.”

So whether their days were noisy or calm, big family or small, the people could be happy. God was with them, and that made every place a good place.
