Paul keeps writing to God's family. In this part, he tells them they are like a special kind of letter that everyone can read.
Today's Story
Paul wrote something that might make you smile. He told the church, “You are a letter from God!”
What did he mean? When people watched how the church loved each other, it was like reading a letter. People could see God's love just by looking at the way these friends were kind and gentle and good.
Paul said this letter was not written with ink on paper. It was written by God's Spirit on people's hearts. God was changing them on the inside, making their hearts softer and kinder day by day.
And Paul told them a secret about getting changed. He said, “When we look at the Lord, we become more like Him.” It is a little like standing in the sunshine — the more time you spend there, the warmer and brighter you get.
The more we spend time with Jesus, the more our hearts start to look like His.

Talk About It
- Who is someone you spend a lot of time with? Have you started to act a little like them?
- If people could “read” your day like a letter, what would they learn about you?
- What is one way you could spend more time with Jesus this week?
