Acts 21 for Kids

For Kids · 4 min with a grown-up

Paul knows hard things are waiting in Jerusalem — but his love for Jesus makes him brave and willing.

Today's Story

Paul was traveling to Jerusalem. Along the way, his friends and even a prophet warned him: “Paul, if you go to Jerusalem, you'll be arrested! Hard things will happen to you. Please don't go!” They loved Paul and were worried about him, and some of them even cried.

But Paul was not afraid. His heart was set on obeying God. “Why are you crying and breaking my heart?” he said gently. “I am ready — not just to be tied up, but to do anything for the name of the Lord Jesus! I'll go wherever He sends me.”

When Paul's friends saw he was determined, they stopped trying to stop him. They said, “May the Lord's will be done.” They trusted that God's plan was best, even when it was hard.

So Paul kept going, brave and willing, ready to follow Jesus no matter what. He loved Jesus so much that he was willing to do anything, even hard things, to serve Him.
