Acts 22 for Kids

For Kids · 4 min with a grown-up

Paul stands before a big crowd and tells them the amazing story of how he met Jesus.

Today's Story

Paul was in Jerusalem, surrounded by a huge crowd. Many people were upset with him. But Paul asked to speak — and he told them his own story, his “testimony,” of how Jesus changed his life.

“I used to be just like you,” Paul said. “In fact, I once was against the followers of Jesus and tried to stop them! I was sure I was right.” The crowd listened closely.

“But one day,” Paul went on, “I was traveling on the road to Damascus when suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed all around me. I fell to the ground, and I heard Jesus' voice: ‘Saul, Saul, why are you fighting against Me?’ That day, everything changed! I met Jesus, and He turned my whole life around. He forgave me and gave me a brand-new life. Now I tell everyone about His love!”

Paul wasn't ashamed of his story. He had once been against Jesus, but Jesus' love had completely changed him. And he wanted everyone to know that Jesus could change them too.
