Moses helped the people remember just how well God had taken care of them — all the way through the desert.
Today's Story
Moses stood before all the people once more. “Remember,” he said, “everything God has done for you. You saw it with your own eyes!”
“For forty whole years, God led you through the desert. And here is something amazing — in all that time, your clothes never wore out! Your sandals never wore out on your feet! God took care of every little thing.” Can you imagine wearing the same shoes for forty years and them still being just fine? That is how carefully God watched over His people.
Then Moses said something wonderful. He called the people together — all of them. “You are all standing here today,” he said, “your leaders and your dads and your moms, and your little children too. Every one of you belongs to God. He wants all of you.”
Nobody was too small. Nobody was left out. The tiniest child mattered to God just as much as the biggest leader. God said: you are My people, and I am your God.
A Big Word
Memory Verse
Talk About It

- Moses said the little children belonged to God just as much as the grown-ups. How does it feel to know God wants you, no matter how small?
- God led His people for forty years and never stopped caring. Where do you need God to take care of you right now?
