Ezekiel heard from God about a day in the future. A giant army would try to scare God's people — but God had a promise about that day.
Today's Story
God gave Ezekiel a message about something that would happen far in the future.
There was a powerful leader named Gog. He ruled a faraway land called Magog. One day, Gog would gather a giant army — soldiers and horses from many nations, more than you could ever count. They would march toward God's people like a huge dark cloud rolling over the land.
God's people would be living in peace by then. Their towns had no big walls. They felt safe and calm. And here came this enormous army, thinking the people would be easy to scare.
But God said something they did not expect. “I see you, Gog,” God said. “You think you are coming on your own. But I am the one in charge of this day.”
God promised He would stand up for His people Himself. The giant army looked strong. But God is stronger than any army that ever marched. He would not let Gog win.
“When that day comes,” God said, “everyone will see how great and holy I am. They will know that I am the Lord.”

Talk About It
- When something feels too big or too scary for you, who do you run to for help?
- God's people felt safe in their little towns with no walls. What is a place where you feel safe and calm?
- God said He would stand up for His people Himself. How does it feel to know God is stronger than anything that could ever scare you?
