This is the rest of the story about the giant army. God promised to win — and then to do something wonderful for His people.
Today's Story
God kept talking to Ezekiel about Gog and the giant army.
The huge army marched in, sure they would win. But God was in charge of that day. With one strong move, God stopped the whole army in its tracks. The plan that looked so big and so scary simply fell apart. God's people did not even have to be afraid.
Then everyone could see the truth. The army was not stronger than God. Nobody is stronger than God. People in faraway lands looked and said, “Now we know who the real God is.”
But here is the best part. God was not finished. He turned to His people with a gentle voice and a big promise.
“I am bringing you home,” God said. “I will gather you back to your land. Every single one. I will fill you with my Spirit. And I will never turn my face away from you again.”
The people who felt far away were coming home. And God promised to stay close, right there with them, forever.
