Ezekiel 41 for Kids

For Kids · 3 min with a grown-up

The tour of the beautiful temple keeps going. This time the shining man takes Ezekiel toward the most special room of all.

Today's Story

The shining man kept walking, and Ezekiel followed him deeper into the temple.

They came to a great big main room. The man measured it — the walls, the doorway, all of it. Then they reached a smaller room, all the way at the back. This was the most special place of all, the very heart of the temple. It was the room that helped people remember how near God wanted to be.

Then Ezekiel looked at the walls, and he gasped. They were covered with beautiful carvings! All around the room, from floor to ceiling, were carved palm trees. And in between the palm trees were carvings that looked like angels — the helpers who stand close to God.

Everywhere Ezekiel turned, the temple was lovely. Carved wood. Tall doors. A special table. Nothing was plain or forgotten. Every wall told you that this was God's house.

Ezekiel could hardly believe how beautiful it all was. And it was all a promise — one day God's people would have a wonderful place to be near Him again.
