Hebrews is a letter that keeps showing us one big thing: Jesus is greater than anything else, and He helps us forever.
Today's Story
A long, long time ago, God's people had special helpers called priests. A priest had a very important job: he helped people come close to God. He prayed for them. He stood in the middle, like a bridge between the people and God.
But there was a problem. Every priest got old. Every priest got sick. And every priest died. So a new one had to take his place, again and again and again. The helpers kept running out.
This letter tells the happy news: Jesus is a different kind of helper. Jesus is our priest who never dies! He came alive again and lives forever, so He never has to be replaced. The letter says, “He always lives to pray for them.”
Picture your best friend, except this friend never goes away, never gets too busy, and never stops loving you. That is Jesus. Right now He is talking to His Father about you — saying your name, asking the Father to help you.
The letter says Jesus is exactly the helper we needed: kind, good, and never going away. He is the bridge to God that lasts forever.

Talk About It
- Who is someone who helps you and prays for you? How does that make you feel?
- Jesus is praying for you right now. What do you think He might be asking His Father for you?
- Jesus is a friend who never goes away. Why is that even better than a friend who sometimes has to leave?
