Isaiah saw a picture of the whole wide world - not just one city, but everywhere - and how God will one day make everything right.
Today's Story
Most of Isaiah's messages were about one city or one country. But this time, God showed Isaiah a picture of the whole earth - every land, every sea, every person, everywhere.
For a long time the world had been a sad and broken place. People had turned away from God and treated each other unkindly. The whole earth was tired and aching, like it needed someone to fix it.
God promised that one day He would set everything right again. Everything sad and broken would be mended. Everything wrong would be made good. And there would be nothing left to be afraid of.
And here is the best part. When that day comes, people will not be quiet. They will sing! From far across the seas, from the east and the west, voices will rise up and shout for joy: “Give glory to God!”
Because the King of the whole earth will be on His throne, shining bright and good. And His people will be glad forever.
