Isaiah is a man who brings God's messages to the people. Today, God shows Isaiah something amazing - and gives him a job.
Today's Story
One day Isaiah saw something he would never forget. He saw God! God was sitting on a high throne, like a King. His robe was so big it filled the whole room.
All around the throne were shining angels with great wings. And they were singing to each other, loud and strong: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord! The whole earth is full of His glory!”
Their voices were so big that the doorposts shook, and the room filled up with smoke, like a cloud.
Isaiah felt very small. “Oh no,” he said. “I am just a person, and my words are not clean enough to be here.”
But God did not send Isaiah away. One of the angels flew over to him, carrying a warm, glowing coal from the altar. The angel touched it gently to Isaiah's mouth and said, “There. Now you are clean. Everything wrong is taken away.”
Then Isaiah heard God ask, “Who will go for us? Who will I send?”
And Isaiah did not wait. He put up his hand and said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Talk About It
- When a grown-up asks, “Who can help me?” how does it feel to be the one who says, “I will!”?
- The angels sang that God is “holy.” What is one thing about God that you think is amazing?
- God made Isaiah clean and ready before He sent him. What is a job you would say “send me” for - even a small one at home?
