God shows Job one more amazing creature — the strongest one of all, deep in the sea.
Today's Story
God has one more wonder to show Job. It is a giant creature of the sea, and its name is Leviathan.
“Can you catch it with a fishing hook?” God asks Job. “Can you put it on a leash like a puppy? Can you make it your little pet?”
No way! This creature is too strong. Its back is covered in rows of shields lined up tight together, like armor. When it moves through the water, the sea churns and foams. Nobody is brave enough to wake it up or wrestle it. There is nothing on earth quite like it.
And yet — God made it. God knows every scale on its back. The biggest, strongest creature you can imagine is like a little pet to God.
That is the whole point God is making to Job. If I am stronger than even Leviathan, then nothing is too hard for Me. No problem you have is too big for Me to handle.
So Job does not need to be afraid. The God who is bigger than the sea monster is the very same God who loves Job and is right there with him. And that same God is with you.
