A man has been blind his whole life — and Jesus is about to give him not just sight, but a whole new story to tell.
Today's Story
Jesus and His friends saw a man who had been blind since the day he was born. He'd never seen a sunset, a face, a color — anything. The disciples asked, “Whose fault is it that he's blind?” But Jesus said, “It's nobody's fault. This happened so God's work could be shown in him.”
Then Jesus did something unusual. He made a little mud, gently put it on the man's eyes, and said, “Go wash in the pool.” So the man felt his way there and washed… and when he opened his eyes — he could SEE! For the very first time in his whole life, he could see the sky, the people, everything!
Everyone was amazed and confused. “Is this really the same man? How can he see?” They kept asking him questions, and some leaders even got angry. But the man just kept telling the truth, simply and boldly: “I don't know everything. But one thing I know for sure: I was blind, but now I can see!”
And the man believed in Jesus and worshiped Him. Jesus had opened his eyes — and his heart.
A Big Word

Talk About It
- The man boldly said, “I was blind, but now I see!” What's something good Jesus has done that you could tell others about?
- The disciples wanted to blame someone, but Jesus said it was a chance to show God's work. Can God bring good even out of hard things?
- The man didn't have all the answers, but he knew what Jesus did for him. Is it okay to not know everything and still believe?
