God gives Samson amazing strength — a gift to be used for God, not wasted.
Today's Story
As Samson grew up, God gave him an incredible gift: amazing STRENGTH! One day, when a young lion roared and charged at him, the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully on Samson, and he was able to overcome the lion with his bare hands! Samson was the strongest man who ever lived.
Samson's strength was a special gift from God, meant to help rescue God's people from their enemies. With God's power, Samson could do amazing things that no ordinary person could do.
But here's something to notice: even though Samson was super strong, he didn't always make wise choices. Sometimes he acted without thinking, or wanted things that weren't good for him. Being strong on the outside isn't the same as being wise and good on the inside.
God gives each of us gifts and strengths. But the most important thing is to use our gifts God's way — wisely and for good — not just however we feel like.
