Two scared, hurting people discover that with Jesus, it's never too late and no one is too small.
Today's Story
A man named Jairus came running to Jesus and fell at His feet. “Please come!” he begged. “My little daughter is dying!” So Jesus went with him. But the crowds pressed all around.
In the crowd was a woman who had been sick for twelve long years. She believed, “If I can just touch Jesus' clothes, I'll be well.” So she reached out and touched the edge of His coat — and instantly she was healed! Jesus stopped. “Who touched Me?” He asked. The woman came trembling and told the truth. Jesus said kindly, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”
But then sad news came: “Jairus, your daughter has died. Don't bother the Teacher now.” Jairus' heart sank. But Jesus said, “Don't be afraid. Just believe.”
Jesus went to the house, took the little girl's hand, and said, “My child, get up!” And her life returned at once — she stood right up! Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Everyone was amazed.

- Jesus told Jairus, “Don't be afraid. Just believe,” even when things looked hopeless. When is it hard to keep believing?
- Jesus had time for both an important leader AND a forgotten, sick woman. What does that tell us about how Jesus sees people?
