Jesus takes three friends up a mountain, and they see Him shine with heaven's glory. Then He helps a desperate dad with a beautiful prayer.
Today's Story
Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a high mountain. And there, right in front of them, Jesus CHANGED — His face and clothes became dazzling white, shining brighter than anything, glowing with heaven's glory! Two great heroes from long ago, Moses and Elijah, appeared and talked with Him.
Then a bright cloud covered them, and God's voice spoke: “This is My Son, whom I love. Listen to Him!” The friends were amazed and a little scared. They had glimpsed who Jesus really is — God's own glorious Son.
When they came back down the mountain, a desperate father was waiting. “Please help my son,” he begged. “If You can do anything, please help us!”
Jesus said, “If you can? Everything is possible for the one who believes!” And the father cried out an honest, beautiful prayer: “I do believe — help me believe more!”
And Jesus healed his boy. Even when our faith is small and shaky, we can bring it honestly to Jesus, and He helps us.
