Psalm 70 is a short, fast prayer King David prayed when he needed help right away. It shows that quick prayers are real prayers too.
Today's Story
Have you ever needed help so fast that you didn't have time for lots of words? Maybe you just yelled, “Help!” King David had a day like that.
He was in trouble, and he needed God right away. So he prayed a short, quick prayer. He said, “Hurry, God! Come quickly and help me!”
David didn't think he had to use fancy words or wait for a special time. He knew God was close and God was listening. A fast prayer from the heart is a real prayer.
Then David remembered all his friends who loved God too. He prayed something kind for them. He said, “Let everyone who looks for You be glad and full of joy. Let them always say, God is great!”
David ended by being honest. He said, “I am weak and I need help. You are the One who helps me and keeps me safe. Please don't wait, Lord.”
It was a tiny song. But it was full of trust — David knew exactly who to call when he needed help fast.
