Psalms 93 for Kids

Have you ever stood by the ocean when the waves were really loud? They crash and roar and throw white foam up into the air. They are so big and so strong that they can feel a little scary.

The person who wrote this song was thinking about those giant waves. He sang, “The seas have lifted up their voice. The seas have lifted up their pounding waves.” The water was as loud as it could be.

And then he sang something wonderful. He said God is “mightier than the thunder of the great waters.” God is stronger than the loudest ocean. He is stronger than the biggest storm.

This song says God is the King. He wears greatness like a beautiful robe. He has been King forever and ever, since before the world began. And He is not going anywhere - He is steady, like a rock that never wobbles.

So when something feels big and loud and a little scary, you can remember: my God is even bigger. He is the strongest one of all. And He is the King who never stops being King.
