Psalm 94 is a song for when something feels unfair. The singer asks God for help and remembers that God always sees and always cares.
Today's Story
Have you ever seen someone do something that just wasn't fair? Maybe someone was being mean, and it seemed like nobody noticed. That can make your tummy feel twisty and sad.
The person who wrote this song felt that way. Some people around him were being unkind and getting away with it. So he did the very best thing - he talked to God about it.
He remembered something important. God made our ears, so of course God can hear. God made our eyes, so of course God can see. Nothing is hidden from Him. God always notices when something is wrong, even when nobody else does.
Then the singer said the most comforting thing. He told God, “When I said, ‘My foot is slipping,’ your love kept me from falling.” It was like he was wobbling on a slippery hill, about to tumble - and God reached out and held him up.
And when his heart was full of worry, God's comfort made him glad again. So when life feels unfair, you can do what he did: tell God, and let God hold you up.
