Revelation shows John pictures that look scary at first, but always end with the same good news: Jesus is King, and Jesus wins.
Today's Story
In this picture, John sees two big, strange creatures. The Bible calls them beasts. They are loud, and they want everyone to follow them instead of God. They even try to copy God to trick people.
That sounds scary. But here is the good news: the beasts are not in charge. God is. The beasts can only do anything for a little while, and only because God lets them — and then their time is up.
God's family does not follow the beasts. They stay close to God. The Bible says this calls for “patient endurance and faithfulness” from God's people. That means staying strong and saying, “I belong to God,” even when it is hard.
God knows the name of every single one of His children. He never forgets them. And the loud, tricky beasts will not last — but God's family will be with Him for ever.
So we do not have to be afraid. We just stay close to our King, who wins.

Talk About It
- Have you ever wanted to give up on something hard? What helped you keep going?
- The beasts tried to trick people. How can we tell the difference between something good and something pretending to be good?
- God knows your name and never forgets you. How does that make you feel?
