Revelation shows John pictures of heaven. In this one, God's family sings a brand-new song to their King.
Today's Story
John looks, and there is the Lamb — that is a special name for Jesus. He is standing on a beautiful mountain, and a huge crowd of God's people is standing with Him. They belong to Him, and He knows every one.
Then John hears the most beautiful sound. It is like rushing water and rolling thunder and a thousand harps all at once. God's people are singing a brand-new song that nobody else can sing. It is their happy song to Jesus.
An angel flies across the sky with good news for everybody. The angel says in a loud voice, “Have respect for God and give him glory.” God made the sky and the sea and the land — so we can trust Him with everything.
God always makes wrong things right in the end. The people who hurt others will not get away with it for ever, and the people who love God will be safe and happy with Him.
One day, God's whole family will sing that new song together. And it will be wonderful.
