Revelation 16 for Kids

For Kids · 3 min with a grown-up

Revelation is the last book in the Bible. A man named John saw amazing pictures of how Jesus makes everything right in the end.

Today's Story

John is watching a picture God is showing him. For a very long time, bad things have hurt the world. People have been mean. They have not loved God or each other. And God has been so patient, waiting and waiting for them to turn back to Him.

Now, in John's picture, God says it is time to make things right. Seven helpers pour out seven bowls, one at a time. Each bowl means God is saying a big, fair “No more” to all the wrong in the world. No more hurting. No more meanness. No more bullies who never get caught.

A loud voice from God's home says, “You are right and fair in the things You do.” God is never mean. He is the best, fairest Judge there ever was. He always does what is good.

This part of the picture feels big and serious. But remember why God is doing it. He is clearing away every bad thing, like sweeping a messy room clean, so that something wonderful and new can come. Jesus is King, and Jesus wins.

A Big Word

Memory Verse

Talk About It

  1. Has someone ever done something unfair to you, and nobody seemed to notice? How did that feel?
  2. God sees everything and is always fair. Why is it good news that God is the One who makes things right, and not us?
  3. God waited a long, long time for people to turn back to Him. What does that tell you about how patient God is?
