Now Jesus shows John something breathtaking. John gets to peek right into heaven!
Today's Story
John saw a door open up in heaven. A voice said, “Come up here. I will show you wonderful things.” And suddenly, John was looking right into heaven!
In the very middle, John saw a great big throne — a special chair for the King of everything. And God Himself was sitting on it, shining bright like sparkling jewels.
All around the throne was a rainbow, soft and green like an emerald. Bright lights flashed, and beautiful music filled the air.
Then John saw something amazing. Day and night, the creatures and the helpers around the throne never stopped singing. They sang, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God. He was, and He is, and He is coming!”
They were so full of wonder that they bowed down low. They knew that God made everything — the sky, the sea, the stars, and you. And so they sang to Him with all their hearts.
Heaven is a place where everyone is happy, because God is right there in the middle of it all.
