What Does Luke 11:24 Mean?
Jesus adds a warning to the deliverance he has just worked. He pictures an expelled spirit roaming dry places, restless, and turning back toward the man it left -- chillingly called my house.
The warning is about emptiness. A life merely vacated by evil, but not filled with God, remains the evil one's forwarding address. Reformation without habitation is not safety. The verse prepares the lesson: deliverance must end in a new occupant, or it has not truly ended.
