What Does Matthew 13:41 Mean?
Jesus describes the harvest itself. The Son of man will send forth His angels to gather out of His kingdom all things that offend and all who do iniquity, everything that causes stumbling and works wrong. The King commands the reapers.
Notice that it is His kingdom and His angels; the authority over the final ingathering belongs to Christ. The verse promises that one day all that wounds and corrupts will be removed, the world purified of what causes its sorrow. For the reader, this is both warning and hope: evil will not have the last word, and the King Himself will cleanse His kingdom of everything that mars it.
