What Does Zechariah 6:7 Mean?
The remaining strong horses are eager to be off, seeking to range across the whole earth. At the word 'Get you hence,' they go and walk to and fro through every land, surveying and overseeing all that happens below.
To walk to and fro through the earth is the language of patient, watchful patrol. God's oversight is not a single glance but a constant, moving vigilance that misses nothing. For the weary and the wronged, this is steadying news: there is no place where His attention does not reach, and no deed done in secret that escapes the notice of heaven.
