What Does 1 Timothy 1:17 Mean?
The thought of such grace lifts Paul into worship. He praises God as the eternal King, beyond death, beyond our sight, the only wise One.
Mercy received always rises back to God as praise. Paul cannot recount his rescue without bursting into glory and honor offered to the One who saved him. The 'Amen' seals it, inviting the reader to join the song.
