2 Nephi 22
People in this chapter
This is one of the shortest chapters in 2 Nephi, and it is a song. In the chapter before, Isaiah saw new growth from the stump of Jesse, an ensign raised for the nations, and a highway open for Israel to come home, like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt (2 Nephi 21:16). When Israel came out of Egypt and crossed the sea, they sang (Exodus 15). So does the gathered Israel here.

2 Nephi 22:1-2Thine Anger Is Turned Away
1And in that day thou shalt say: O Lord, I will praise thee; though thou wast angry with me thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
For chapters Isaiah warned that the Lord's anger is not turned away. Now the gathered people sing, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.
This line echoes the song Israel sang after crossing the Red Sea (Exodus 15:2). The same God who saved them then saves His people again.
2 Nephi 22:3The Wells of Salvation
In a dry land, a well meant life. Salvation is like that: a well you can come back to again and again. Jesus said, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
2 Nephi 22:4-6The Holy One of Israel in the Midst of Thee
4And in that day shall ye say: Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. 5Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things; this is known in all the earth.
Those who have been saved tell others. Praise turns into testimony: declare his doings among the people.
6Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
The song ends with the Holy One of Israel living among His people. Zion is where the Lord dwells.
